Overview
Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our team!
Responsibilities- Arrange for the efficient and orderly admission and discharge of outpatient appointments, testing and procedures.
- Schedule provider appointments and maintain the EMR system.
- Ensure that the patient’s information is collected and entered into the computer system accurately, and that all patients are aware of clinic and hospital policies and procedures.
- Answer phones and provide answers to basic questions as needed.
- Process incoming and outgoing referrals, faxes, and correspondence.
- Collect co-pays and payment receipts and ensure they are processed accordingly.
- Preauthorize and schedule procedures with insurance and outside facilities.

QualificationsEducation/Certification: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Experience: One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
