Travel CT Technologist

Job Overview

TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a temporary assignment in Idaho Falls, : 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts.

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions.
• Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
• Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues.
• Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography.
• State-specific licensing when required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop easily.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend (amount to be determined). Total Med Allied Job .
