Functional Manual Tester

MAJUS Consulting is seeking a Functional Manual Tester to provide comprehensive testing support for enterprise systems. This role focuses on executing manual functional, interface, and integration testing across complex applications and environments. The mission is to ensure high-quality software delivery through detailed testing practices that align with federal standards and Agile methodologies.

• Develop, document, and execute detailed manual test cases.
• Perform functional, interface, and integration testing across systems.
• Validate data integrity and workflows across multiple platforms.
• Identify, document, and track defects; coordinate with development teams for resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Assist in end-to-end testing for integrated enterprise systems
• Support limited IT security testing activities.
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to refine and verify acceptance criteria.
• Maintain thorough documentation of test results and QA processes.

• 5+ years of experience in manual functional and integration testing.
• Strong understanding of Agile development and testing practices.
• Ability to perform white-box, black-box, and end-to-end testing.
• Familiarity with testing APIs, interfaces, and flat-file data exchanges.
• Excellent defect tracking, reporting, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities with technical and non-technical teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• ISTQB Foundation Level or Agile Testing Certification preferred.

• Must be able to pass a Public Trust background investigation.

Salary Range:$70,000–$100,000, based on experience.
