About the Role:

The Greeter/Technician role is a dynamic position that combines customer service excellence with technical support responsibilities. The primary goal is to create a welcoming and professional environment for all visitors while efficiently addressing technical issues and performing routine maintenance tasks. This role requires balancing interpersonal communication skills with technical expertise to ensure both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact, providing friendly greetings and assistance, while also troubleshooting and resolving technical problems promptly.

Ultimately, this position contributes to a positive customer experience and smooth technical operations within the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of technical equipment and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing technical support role.
  • Familiarity with common software applications and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to lift and move technical equipment safely.
  • Bilingual skills or additional language proficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and assist customers and visitors upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments or personnel.
  • Perform basic technical troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment and systems as needed.
  • Document and uplift complex technical issues to specialized technicians or management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception and technical work area.
  • Provide information about services, products, or procedures to customers and staff.
  • Assist with inventory management of technical supplies and equipment.
  • Support team members with technical tasks and customer inquiries as required.

Skills:

In this role, strong communication skills are essential for greeting customers warmly and clearly conveying technical information.
