We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Loader Operator at our plant in Idaho Falls!

• Communicate and promote safety compliance and environmental requirements in alignment with company standards
• Run mixing operations on the plant to ensure material quality and compliance with specification
• Ensure consistent production to meet daily orders
• Offload hot asphalt oil
• Handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and deal effectively with people using a facilitative approach include scaling, ticketing and assist in asphalt orders
• Complete daily checklist, journal, and reports
• Continuously communicate with plant operators, truckers, quality control and dispatch
• Problem solve to identify and resolve issues that arise
• Maintain aggregate stockpiles and liquid levels
• Maintain good attendance and safety record and set an example for others to follow
• Job requires steady to intermittent and repetitive physical activity including standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, lifting, carrying, pushing, shoveling, and raking
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Proven work history of two (2) years or more experience in asphalt plant operation
• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to work day shifts and night shifts; shifts may vary according to project demands
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Must be willing to travel if the job requires
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
