Overview

Supervises, oversees and trains the associates in the Product Delivery department. Responsible for order fulfilment, audit and pack lines.

Responsibilities
  • Train associates on each task and piece of equipment prior to use.
  • Ensure that the line is moving at all times and that accuracy is maintained.
  • Observe associates periodically to ensure proper procedures are followed.
  • Ensure orders are shipped within shipping policy guidelines.
  • Ensure that the line is started on time and that there is an adequate number of people to man the line.
  • Ensure department personnel adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Assure the Product Delivery area is maintained neat and orderly.
  • Oversee the quality control aspects of the line; track and document the percentage of errors.
  • Ensure priority, second and next day air packages are shipped on the same day.
  • Ensure that trucks are loaded properly.
  • Ensure inventory stocks are maintained in ample supply.
  • Prepare and report progress of speed and accuracy compared to standards, to associates and supervisors, hourly and daily.
  • Have a working knowledge of distribution conveyor systems and software packages.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
  • Supervise related staff by implementing progressive disciplinary measures, counseling, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, conducting associate meetings, resolving conflicts; recommend hiring, firing, and promotions.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and write accurately.
  • Ability to work under stress.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct the work of others.
  • Three (3) months prior experience at Melaleuca or equivalent.
  • Ability to pull, stretch, bend, and lift for duration of shift.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk (on floor and up stairs) for duration of shift.
  • Visually read bottles, product, invoices and perform inspections.
  • Good math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
