Job Overview
Operates production equipment to fill, cap, label, palletize, and package bottles. Performs cleaning, quality inspections, and maintains accurate production documentation. Collaborates with team members and supports the product delivery department as needed.
Responsibilities- Set up work area by retrieving production components and sterilizing tables and equipment.
- Use personal protective equipment when required.
- Fill bottles using filling machinery or manual processes.
- Operate assigned filling machines to produce finished product.
- Cap bottles by applying caps manually, using a crimper, or an air press machine.
- Label specified products in the appropriate location.
- Prepare pallets by filling totes, labeling them, loading pallets, and moving pallets with pallet jacks.
- Lift finished product from totes onto pallets, tables, or shelves.
- Perform cleanup duties: wash equipment, sweep and mop floors, empty trash, and wipe workstations with IPA.
- Set up and operate the sealer, monitor temperature to prevent explosions, cap bottles, wash bottles, box products, and label boxes.
- Inspect own work for cleanliness, label placement, lid tightness, and correct batch numbers.
- Assist in training other associates by demonstrating tasks and answering questions.
- Monitor quality by wiping excess product, checking silk‑screened labels, counting on boxes, stacking pallets, and verifying label placement.
- Complete personal reports by recording performance data, batch sheets, cleaning logs, labeling, amounts, OTC product forms, and component return sheets to warehouse.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
- Assist the Product Delivery Department when required.
- Help with machine teardown, cleaning, and set‑up.
- Ability to work independently.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 65 lbs. consistently for eight (8) hours, including lifting boxes/totes from floor to pallet or product delivery line.
- Ability to operate mechanical equipment.
- Stand and walk for the duration of an eight‑hour shift.
- Pull, stretch, bend, and lift for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to organize and coordinate projects.
- Visual reading of bottles, product, and batch numbers.
- Manual dexterity for collating, sorting, filling, toting, etc.
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Good math comprehension to solve problems and complete paperwork.
- Perform essential duties accurately and efficiently.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Ability to climb stairs.
- Starting pay $15.00 per hour.
- Shift: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM.
- Longevity bonus: 5 years $5,000; 10 years $10,000; 15 years $15,000.
