Compensation
Hourly Wage Estimate: $29.50 - $44.25 / hour. The typical candidate is hired below the midpoint of the range. Salary may vary based on specific skills and experience.
Job SummaryAs a Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide quality individualized preventive and supportive wound care to each patient. You will serve a collaborative team dedicated to extraordinary patient care and support among teammates.
Responsibilities- Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff and healthcare providers to assist with planning strategy of wound care pre or post operatively, or ongoing.
- Ensure appropriate resource management and develop a safe discharge plan in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide direct nursing intervention to a variety of age populations and diagnostic categories based on the physician‑developed plan of care and established priorities for wound care issues.
- Coordinate activities that promote quality outcomes and patient throughput while supporting a balance of optimal care and appropriate resource utilization.
- Identify potential causes of delayed wound healing.
- Review medication, provide patient education, and administer pain medications per physician order. Accurately assess pain levels and the effects of administered medications.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Idaho.
- Associate Degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Wound care experience preferred.
- Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) during new‑hire orientation.
