American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with 3+ years of OR experience and trauma background for a 13-week travel assignment with shift and call flexibility.

• Hospital setting in a 13-room Operating Room unit
• Supports a wide range of surgical specialties including general, ortho, neuro, ENT, gynecology, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, open heart, robotics, and trauma
• Runs up to 10 rooms during weekday peak hours, scaling down through evening and overnight staffing levels
• Weekend coverage includes a dedicated trauma team with additional call coverage on Saturdays
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Rotates weekend call every four weeks, utilized to fill evening and overnight staffing gaps Monday through Thursday
• Call shifts may be 2, 4, 8, or 12 hours with efforts made to limit combined work and call to 60 hours per week

• Active RN license ( license or compact) required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• 3+ years of Operating Room experience required
• Shift and call flexibility required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Burn, robotic, and neuro experience preferred

• Perform circulating and/or scrub duties across a broad range of surgical procedures and specialties
• Team includes 25 RNs and 29 CSTs supporting the unit
• Best fit for candidates who are open, outgoing, forward-thinking, team-oriented, and strong critical thinkers
• Dress code follows AORN standards
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered; no local candidates accepted
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
