Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
To successfully perform this role, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily. * Plan, schedule, and supervise field inspection activities on industrial project sites.
* Maintain a consistent presence on job sites to observe work, verify compliance, and proactively identify potential issues.
* Monitor adherence to safety practices as they relate to quality, including proper procedures and the safe execution of testing and inspection activities.
* Ensure inspections are completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, approved procedures, quality standards, and applicable codes and regulations.
* Interpret technical requirements, drawings, and specifications to support and guide inspection activities.
* Communicate quality expectations, findings, and requirements clearly and professionally.
* Verify that materials, methods, and workmanship comply with contract and regulatory requirements.
* Provide quality-related leadership, guidance, and support to project managers, supervisors, and field teams; promote a strong quality culture and reinforce adherence to QA/QC processes and procedures.
* Serve as a primary point of contact for quality and inspection matters between project teams, customers, and regulatory representatives.
* Escalate noncompliant or unsafe conditions and partner with site leadership to resolve them.
* Maintain organized quality documentation for audits, client reviews, and regulatory inspections.
* Ensure inspection reports, checklists, and test records are completed accurately and on time.
* Track, report, and identify trends related to quality metrics, nonconformances, and corrective actions.
* Identify, document, and investigate quality issues and nonconforming work; recommend corrective and preventive actions and verify their implementation.
* Contribute to lessons learned and the sharing of best practices across projects and locations.
* Coach and mentor field inspectors and project personnel on quality and inspection requirements.
* Support onboarding and ongoing training related to QA/QC procedures, documentation, and regulatory standards.
* Represent the company professionally in interactions with clients, regulators, and partners.
* Ensure all QA/QC activities are conducted in a manner consistent with the company's values, mission, and ethical standards.
* Actively participate in programs, policies, and initiatives designed to support the overall success of the company.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Required
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field of study, OR four years or more of industrial or commercial related experience.
* Five or more years of experience as a supervisor or project leader in an industrial, manufacturing, or related field is required, along with experience in ISO
9001 quality management or equivalent systems.
