The Inspector Level II is responsible for implementing inspection processes. He/she is certified in specific disciplines and has detailed understanding of applicable codes and/or standards. Certified by an appropriate agency or organization to represent inspection for a given discipline under a specific quality management program. The Inspector Level II shall have sufficient practical background in applicable materials, fabrication, and product technology.
He/she is responsible for evaluating and reporting the validity and acceptability of inspection and test results.
The Inspector Level II will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform his/her role in a safe, productive, and effective manner. - Implements Inspection Plans
- Ensures a Safe Work Environment
- Participates in Training/Certifications
- ACI Certified Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade 1
- Certified and approved as an ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector or ICC Certified Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector
- Experience in concrete inspection on nuclear and/or commercial projects
- Knowledge of ACI codes and industry standards for nuclear concrete construction
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, codes and standards
- Strong technical writing skills for documenting inspections and nonconformances
- Must meet stringent nuclear industry training and access requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
