Ideal location:
Boise, Spokane, WA
- Achieve territory sales goals by promoting products/services to physicians and other medical personnel within assigned geography.
- Educate customers on appropriate use, characteristics, and approved indications.
- Promote rare disease products to specialty physicians via one-on-one meetings, group presentations, and company-approved speaker programs.
- Meet territory product sales goals and territory sales activity goals using defined metrics while following ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and promotional regulations.
- Execute company-approved Product Marketing plans and territory/regional business plan activities.
- Support targeted customers/accounts using company-approved resources and sales materials.
- Maintain company equipment and promotional materials per compliance guidelines.
- Use territory business plans and sales reports for optimum sales strategy execution.
- Attend company-sponsored sales and medical meetings as directed.
- Pursue continuous learning in sales/communication techniques and product/therapeutic area knowledge.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS required.
- 5-7+ years successful pharmaceutical sales; competitive market experience preferred.
- Proven sustained high sales performance (Top 10%, National Awards).
- 2+ years promoting rare competitive disease products strongly preferred.
- US state-issued driver’s license required.
- Launch/start-up experience plus; endocrinologists experience preferred.
- Ability to build relationships, open new accounts, and support patient-start within company guardrails.
- Preferred: specialty pharmacy/internal patient support experience; managed care and rare disease product experience.
- Behavioral competencies: leadership, teamwork, attention to detail, self-starter, problem solving, organization, adaptability, professionalism, written/verbal communications, compliance adherence, analytical skills, multi-tasking, decision-making, accountability, inquisitive.
- Periodic evening/weekend work; overnight travel; vehicle travel.
- Travel up to ~70%.
Anticipated base salary range: $110,000–$190,000.
