- Job Schedule:
Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Sun 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and other security‑related policies throughout the healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor assigned areas for unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, and document observations and incidents according to site guidelines.
- Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, visitor interactions, and general inquiries while maintaining awareness of security‑related concerns across the location.
- Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- This position is in a hospital environment and may involve working in or around a morgue.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to restrain individuals when required in a hospital environment.
- Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare‑related and/or medical‑related field.
- Be able to use a valid driver’s license for driving positions (if applicable).
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
