Mechanic, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on trucks, heavy equipment, and machinery
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake repairs, engine diagnostics, and part replacements
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently to minimize downtime
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure all repairs meet industry standards
• Maintain accurate service records and report necessary repairs
• Operate tools and diagnostic equipment to assess vehicle performance
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies

• Proven experience as a mechanic (automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment)
• Strong knowledge of engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Ability to read technical manuals and use diagnostic tools
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
