Mobile Maintenance Mechanic

Job Overview

The Mobile Maintenance Mechanic supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. The role performs inspections and repairs to interior and exterior areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting.

• Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts.
• Assist the operations team with maintenance and repair of building equipment.
• Perform general interior maintenance: hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems.
• Execute minor plumbing repairs.
• Complete special tasks such as painting, locksmith work, tenant service requests, and general maintenance as assigned.
• Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.
• Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence, reporting conditions impacting client occupancy and operations.
• Be on call for after-hours emergencies.
• Comply with all safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping, recognize hazards, and propose elimination methods.
• Maintain compliance with state, county, or city ordinances, codes, or laws.
• Comply with policies for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational training programs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Document work performance and material procurement.
• Be a self‑motivated individual capable of working independently or in a team.
• Perform other assigned operational tasks typical of the Maintenance Mechanic role.

• Ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs, use ladders up to 30 ft, and possess mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, and lift.
• Ability to drive long distance within designated portfolio.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.

Required

• 3+ years of applicable workplace experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Preferred

• Completion of an applicable technical training program.
