The Yard Butler is seeking a reliable and motivated Irrigation Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial irrigation systems.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, manages time effectively, and is committed to delivering high-quality service that exceeds customer expectations.

• Perform sprinkler system start-ups and winterizations
• Install new irrigation systems (manual, semi-automatic, and automatic)
• Conduct backflow inspections
• Diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation system issues
• Complete seasonal clock adjustments and system optimization
• Repair system defects including:
• Lateral lines
• Valves
• PVBs and other components
• Maintain accurate job notes and ensure work is completed efficiently
• Keep truck, tools, and inventory organized and clean
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Assist in training and supporting maintenance team members on irrigation processes
• Safely operate tools, equipment, and machinery required for each job

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Frequent bending, crouching, and working in trenches or uneven terrain
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 75 lbs

Required:

• 1–3 years of irrigation/sprinkler technician experience
• Valid driver’s license

• Work is completed accurately and on time
• Irrigation systems are functioning properly with minimal callbacks
• Strong communication with customers and team members
• Maintains organized truck, tools, and materials daily
• Demonstrates accountability, reliability, and initiative
