Job Description & How to Apply Below

The Advanced Test Reactor at Idaho National Laboratory is one of the most unique and consequential facilities in the world. As the nation's most powerful research reactor, ATR drives breakthroughs in nuclear fuel development, materials science, and national security; work that directly shapes America's energy independence and defense capability. The rotating equipment and mechanical systems that keep ATR running demand a level of precision that not everyone can deliver.

That's where you come in.

As a Millwright Mechanic
, your precision isn't just a professional standard, it's a mission requirement. The work you do every day helps keep critical research online, supports U.S. nuclear energy policy, and contributes to national security in ways that extend far beyond the facility fence line. If you take pride in doing precision work right the first time and want to be part of a crew that feels the same way, the ATR Complex is worth a hard look.
