As an Employment Training Specialist, you’ll work one-on-one with individuals who have secured employment, providing job coaching, encouragement, advocacy, and skill development.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide direct job coaching and support to individuals employed in community workplaces.
  • Help clients develop vocational skills and workplace success strategies.
  • Advocate for clients and support their growth toward greater independence.
  • Collaborate with employers, families, and support teams.
  • Encourage, motivate, and celebrate client achievements.
Schedule

This is a part-time position (up to 29 hours per week). Hours are based on client needs and may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and occasional schedule changes with 24-hour notice.

What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of experience in vocational rehabilitation, special education, teaching, counseling, human services, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to pass a Health & Welfare criminal background check.
