Job Summary
This role is responsible for specific SaaS products and focuses on applying platform recommended best practices to build solutions to solve business problems. With a focus on quality, security, and performance. The role also involves configuration and maintenance of the assigned SaaS products. Additionally, the role leverages Microsoft Azure cloud platform and Microsoft AI services to extend the assigned SaaS products with secure, intelligent, cloud‑native capabilities.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain forms, fields, tables, apps, components, and dashboards using out‑of‑the‑box tools.
- Configure and maintain features, modules, and environments per development and business needs.
- Apply SDLC to all custom apps and components integrated with the platform.
- Support deployment of solutions according to platform standards and best practices, while following credit union standards.
- Build and maintain workflows to manage business processes.
- Promote and apply credit union coding standards and platform recommended best practices.
- Build platform extensions through scripts, components, business rules, plugins, and solutions per platform standards.
- Participate in collaborative code review and solution review sessions.
- Create unit tests with appropriate coverage and assist quality engineers in automated integration and UI tests.
- Promote best practices and standards for the platform.
- Collaborate effectively in a Scrum team; complete stories to the accepted definition of done.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Business Stakeholders.
- Meet end‑user needs in a quality, consistent, and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with team members and credit union employees.
- Contribute to general and technical documentation for platform solutions.
- Continuously learn and improve technical and soft skills.
- Keep current with the SaaS product roadmap, emerging technologies, and development techniques.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving production issues.
- Design, build, and integrate AI‑powered features into platform solutions using Microsoft AI services such as Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Foundry, and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Build and deploy cloud‑native integrations and services on Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, App Service, API Management) with automated CI/CD pipelines in Git Hub and Azure Dev Ops.
- Minimum 2+ years experience with the assigned SaaS products.
- Experience building out‑of‑the‑box solutions for the SaaS products.
- Experience extending the platform through scripts, components, plugins, or event triggers.
- Ability to translate business problems into platform solutions.
- Ability to work with business stakeholders and understand their issues and requirements.
- Familiarity with mainstream object‑oriented languages such as C# or Java.
- Experience with JavaScript or front‑end frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Experience creating and consuming web services (REST and SOAP).
- Experience accessing and querying databases such as MSSQL Server.
- Experience with Scrum and associated tools such as Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub.
- Experience building and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure (App Service, Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, SQL Database).
- Familiarity with credit union or banking systems and processes (preferred).
- 2–5 years delivering solutions on one or more enterprise platforms.
- Designing or integrating generative‑AI solutions with Azure OpenAI Service and Azure AI Search (RAG, prompt‑engineering patterns).
- Experience using Microsoft Copilot or Copilot Studio to extend applications with AI assistants.
- Advanced platform certifications and Microsoft Azure and AI certifications.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Advanced platform certifications are strongly preferred. Relevant product certifications or Microsoft Azure and AI certifications are also strongly preferred.
Managerial ResponsibilityNo supervisory or managerial responsibility.
Technical & Office Skills- Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with diagram software such as Visio or Lucidchart.
- Experience with the Microsoft Azure portal and AI‑assisted development tools such as Git Hub Copilot (plus).
Demonstrated ability to clearly express ideas verbally and in writing; document outcomes for stakeholders.
Physical Abilities / Working ConditionsTypical office environment; ability to sit, talk, hear, stand, walk, lift up to 10 pounds occasionally. Moderate noise.
