Local Class A CDL Driver – Idaho Falls,
REIC Rentals is seeking an experienced Local Class A CDL Driver to join our team in Idaho Falls, Idaho. If you're a safety-focused professional with experience hauling heavy equipment and enjoy providing outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
In this role, you'll safely transport construction and rental equipment to customer job sites throughout Southeast Idaho and occasionally surrounding areas, including Montana, Utah, and Wyoming. You'll serve as the face of REIC Rentals by ensuring equipment is delivered safely, customers understand its operation, and every delivery reflects our commitment to exceptional service.
Schedule- Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule with rare weekend work and occasional overnight travel as business needs require.

As a Local Class A CDL Driver, you will:
- Safely transport heavy equipment to customer job sites throughout Southeast Idaho and surrounding states.
- Load, unload, and properly secure heavy equipment for transport.
- Conduct and document daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional truck.
- Ensure all DOT inspections, certifications, and medical requirements remain current.
- Report any mechanical or safety concerns promptly.
- Demonstrate the safe operation of delivered equipment and ensure customers are familiar with its basic operation.
- Inspect equipment during delivery and pickup, documenting any damage or operational concerns.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding deliveries, scheduling, and route updates.
- Represent REIC Rentals professionally by providing outstanding customer service at every job site.
- Valid Class A CDL with manual transmission experience.
- Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience.
- Experience hauling construction or heavy equipment.
- Previous experience in the heavy equipment rental or construction industry.
- Clean driving record for the previous three years.
Applicants must have no record within the previous three years of:
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances
- Leaving the scene of an accident
- Committing a felony involving a motor vehicle
- Reckless driving
- Excessive speeding violations
This position requires the ability to:
- Stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and climb throughout the workday.
- Lift up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.
- Sit for extended periods while operating a commercial vehicle.
Approximate daily activity:
- Sitting – 80%
- Standing – 10%
- Walking – 10%
