Idaho Falls, Idaho
- Delivery Driver Trainee: complete all required tasks in the CDL training program to become a local delivery driver. Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to obtain a CDL Permit and Medical Card.
- Drive truck over established routes to deliver products to customer locations on highway, rural, and city streets, in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Operate without direct supervision to deliver all products for established routes.
- Communicate issues and customer concerns to the supervisor.
- Record sales, buy backs, delivery and variance information on daily records.
- Operate computerized inventory and invoicing system to accurately record stops, deliveries, and any route errors.
- Operate hand trucks and electric pallet jacks.
- Collect or pick up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise.
- Conduct and/or supervise truck loading and unloading and secure loads.
- Obtain customer signatures on receipts for pickup or delivery.
- Perform daily inspection and routine vehicle maintenance and keep the vehicle clean.
- Construct or assemble display aids from company-provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
- Wear company-provided uniform and safety devices as appropriate to comply with safety standards and procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor at any time.
- Must complete all required tasks in the CDL training program to become a local delivery driver.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to obtain CDL Permit and Medical Card.
- Ability to operate in a professional, safe, and customer-facing environment.
