Job Overview
Join North Idaho College’s Workforce Development team and play a key role in supporting programs that connect students, employers, and the community with valuable training and career opportunities. We are seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing customer service, organization, and operational support.
Responsibilities- Serve as a central point of contact for students, staff, employers, and community partners to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Coordinate meetings, events, communications, records, reports, budgets, purchasing activities, and administrative processes while supporting workforce training initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, assist with marketing efforts, and support recruitment events.
- Improve office efficiency by managing workflows, adapting processes, training others on procedures and systems, and supporting special projects.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
- Associate’s degree or applied associate’s degree or certification from a two-year college or professional/technical school, with a minimum of three years full-time related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems.
- Excellent organizational abilities and commitment to providing outstanding support to students, colleagues, and community partners.

Starting pay range: $20.01 - $23.01 per hour
Pay Grade: C8
Work Site
Location:
Workforce Training Center, Post Falls
Work Schedule: Mon–Thurs 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, Fri 7:30 am – 2:30 pm
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and proof of degree if required for this position.
