What You’ll Do
- Perform procurement work under minimal supervision for high value and high impact transactions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define specifications, scope of work, and procurement strategies for materials and services.
- Lead sourcing efforts including bid evaluations, supplier selection, and contract negotiations to drive value and performance.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring quality, service levels, and cost expectations are consistently met.
- Analyze procurement categories to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Oversee purchase orders and procurement activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Resolve supplier or service issues by partnering across teams and driving practical, effective solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of related experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with the ability to evaluate contracts and commercial terms.
- Clear communication skills and ability to work across technical and non‑technical teams.
- Proficiency with standard business and procurement systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through in a deadline‑driven environment.
- Preferred experience supporting industrial operations, utilities, or power generation environments.
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPIM, or similar.
