Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, supervise, direct, coordinate and oversee day‑to‑day facility operations including mail and incoming shipment processing, office safety and security, maintenance, repairs and improvement activities for the CCRC Palmdale facility. The Supervisor will conduct performance appraisals, manage workflow, coach staff, and make independent decisions related to task completion following agency standards, policies, and procedures. The incumbent will serve as property liaison between vendors and program departments and perform basic repair tasks.

- Respond to emergency situations as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant experience with management and supervisory techniques.
- Building maintenance skills such as painting and cleaning.
- Familiarity with the local area (e.g., San Fernando Valley streets and highways).
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Zoom.
- Effective communication, supportive attitude towards families, cooperative work experience.
- Excellent organizational, time‑management, and customer‑service skills.
- Ability to motivate employees, establish priorities, and organize work.
- Effective problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
- Independent decision‑making and judgment.
Requires 50% travel. Must hold current California Driver’s License, adequate auto insurance, and meet CCRC vehicle or driver requirements.
ScheduleFull‑time (40 hours per week). May require evenings or weekends on occasion and a hybrid schedule (office twice per week).
Background & Health Clearance RequirementsBackground check required. Positions may require Live Scan clearance, health clearance, MVR/DMV clearance, child development permit, CPR/Pediatric CPR, and federal debarment checks as applicable.
