Location: Carey

General Purpose of Position:

Operations Manager will plan and oversee the daily operations of the organization to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Duties/Responsibilities1

Follow all SOPs, COPs, and cGMPs as directed2

Plans and organizes daily activities related to production and operations.

Measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.

Coordinates with other support departments such as human resources, finance, and logistics to ensure successful production operations.

Oversees the shipping and receiving functions.
6

Research and reconcile all shipping or receiving errors and discrepancies.

Determines labor needs to meet production goals8

Assists with, or prepares and updates, organization’s operations manual and policies9

Perform activities related to the QA release of product for distribution, including the handling of quality related issues that arise due to various circumstances, including returns

Assist with various Quality Assurance activities focusing on product quality, project management, assisting with internal and external audits

Develop, file and maintain quality related documents, per corporate document retention policy
12

Performs other related duties as required

Travel:

Position may require 5-10% travel to Mason, OH occasionally

Work Shift:

This position works days. Onsite in Carey, OH. Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Clear understanding and demonstration of Prasco core values

Extensive knowledge of operations and production management.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Excel Ability to work with little supervision.

Must be able to compliment and contribute to team environment.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Five years of related experience required

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Required to stand, sit, talk, see and hear. Required to walk, lift and move up to 100 pounds. Must use hands and fingers to operate controls/equipment/computer.

Must have the ability to adjust focus for unplanned activities and other duties as assigned. Daily contact requires courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment.

The work environment is indoors. The noise level in the work environment ranges from moderately quiet to loud.
