About the roleThe Administration Officer contributes to the effective operation of the Lifeline Centre by delivering high‑quality administrative and financial support to ensure the smooth delivery of crisis support services. This role supports the Service Leader and broader team across a wide range of business functions, ensuring efficient and professional service delivery. Working within a dynamic environment, you will play a key role in maintaining effective systems, supporting training coordination and providing operational support to ensure the centre functions efficiently.
Keyresponsibilities
- Provide high‑level administrative support to the Lifeline Centre and Service Leader
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, travel and events
- Support Crisis Support Worker training coordination
- Manage records, databases and documentation systems
- Undertake financial and HR administration tasks, including accounts payable and timekeeping systems
- Prepare reports, correspondence and presentations using Microsoft Office
- Liaise with external providers and internal stakeholders (IT, facilities, suppliers)
- Support operational areas including HR, WHS, fleet and digital systems
- Maintain effective administrative processes and a welcoming, professional environment
- Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration (or similar) and/or relevant experience in a similar role
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience working across multiple business systems
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Positive Blue Card
- Willingness to undergo a Criminal History Check
- Previous experience in health, community services or not‑for‑profit sector (desirable)
