Overview

The Graphics Traffic Supervisor oversees the Graphics Traffic team, taking a high-level view of the traffic process and production while collaborating with and providing direction to the team. The role prioritizes and processes creative job requests, schedules kickoff meetings, works with project requesters, and follows up with key stakeholders.

Essential Job Functions
  • Staff the Graphics Traffic team, including hiring, dismissing, training, evaluating, coaching, and goal setting.
  • Coordinate, prioritize, and process all graphic designer project requests.
  • Set project dates, build proofing schedules, compile status updates, and keep stakeholders on task.
  • Work closely with Marketing Operations and Digital Marketing teams to maintain project flow and proactively address concerns.
  • Coordinate the workflow of graphic artists to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintain a list of current projects that includes project status and deadlines.
  • Schedule project kickoff meetings, work with requesters, and follow up with stakeholders.
  • Proof and edit all publications created by the department.
  • Coordinate and manage the Marketing Brief process.
  • Oversee creative workflow software (Lytho) maintenance and recommend process improvements.
  • Negotiate bids with outside printers for all publications and manage flyer/material distribution.
  • Contact outside vendors for artwork acquisition and conduct weekly departmental production meetings.
  • Serve as a liaison between Creative Services, Marketing, and other stakeholders, troubleshooting systems and processes to meet deadlines.
  • Assist with special department projects and other duties as assigned.
Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two or more years’ experience in an advertising agency or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Advanced proofing skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of publication printing, Mac platform software, and art files.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Professional and effective communication in a team environment.
  • Understanding of rules, processes, and accountability across departments.
  • Solution-oriented mindset, meeting both internal and external client expectations.
  • Positive attitude and presentation of a professional company image.
Desired
  • Knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Pre-press procedures knowledge.
  • Familiarity with sheet-fed, web, and double-web printing techniques.
  • Strong print or marketing background.
