General Dentist - Idaho
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 32-40 Hours/Week

Job Summary

Located in Central Idaho, a County Health Clinic is seeking an experienced General Dentist to join their team in a leadership capacity, supervising dental staff in the absence of the Dental Director while also providing direct patient care as a practicing general dentist. This role reports to the Dental Director and the Executive Team (CEO and CFO).

This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist who wants both clinical practice and a leadership role, in a supportive, community-focused health center with a genuinely high staff retention rate.

What We Offer
  • Salary: $120,000 - $180,000/year
  • Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday —
    no nights, no weekends
  • 32 hours/week with the option to work up to 40 hours weekly

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct dental care to patients
  • Supervise dental staff regarding job performance, appropriate care standards, confidentiality, and professional conduct (in Dental Director's absence)
  • Attend clinic management meetings and participate in annual/multi-year goal planning
  • Participate in dental quality assurance activities, including chart reviews, follow-up on findings, and staff training recommendations
  • Develop and maintain the monthly dental schedule to ensure consistent patient coverage
  • Monitor dental team objectives and support clinic-wide goals
  • Participate in local, state, regional, or national dental associations as appropriate
Qualifications
  • DDS or DMD degree; meets the Centers Credentialing and Privileging requirements
  • Ability to organize, coordinate, and monitor staff work assignments
  • Strong delegation and prioritization skills
  • Ability to foster a motivated, high-performing team culture
  • Comfortable working independently and efficiently
  • Cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse patient backgrounds and socio-economic circumstances
  • Strong team collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary care setting
