Bruneau-Grand View Joint School District #365 is seeking an energetic and student‑focused Second‑Year Principal to lead Rimrock Junior Senior High School, serving approximately 150 students in grades 6‑12 in a small rural community.

Position Summary

Lead the school by providing instructional leadership, promoting academic excellence, fostering a positive school culture, and building strong relationships among staff, students, families, and the community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide instructional leadership and supervision of secondary staff.
• Foster a positive, safe, and productive learning environment for students.
• Support and evaluate teachers and staff to promote continuous improvement.
• Implement district and state policies and procedures.
• Monitor student achievement and support strategies to improve outcomes.
• Manage student discipline and promote positive behavior supports.
• Collaborate with district administration and community stakeholders.
• Oversee daily school operations including scheduling, activities, and supervision.
• Support extracurricular programs and school events.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field.
• Valid Idaho Administrator Certificate or the ability to obtain one.
• Successful teaching experience required.
• Prior administrative or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and the community.
