Assistant Drama Coach
This position is anticipated to be an Assistant Drama Coach at Teton High School, subject to the needs of the district. Qualifications include the ability to organize and supervise a drama program, previous successful experience in drama, substantial knowledge of drama aspects and theories, and the ability to serve as an appropriate role model for students. The Assistant Drama Coach reports to the Principal and supervises a staff of high school assistant coaches and middle school coaches.
The job goal is to instruct in the fundamental skills, strategy, and training necessary for individual and group success, while promoting socially acceptable character development, self-discipline, self-confidence, and pride of accomplishment in students. The position includes extended time, risk injury factor, and due process predicaments.
Duties and responsibilities include thorough knowledge of Teton School District 401 policies, implementation of regulations, administrative line of command, staff training and supervision, scheduling and event preparation, documentation for state and system requirements, equipment management, advising on policy changes, mentoring students, maintaining discipline, and public relations.
