Hourly rate:$37.01 - $38.17 per hour (pending experience and responsibilities)

Responsibilities:Provide support to all aspects of Indigenous Education, advocate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students together with their families, communities, teachers and the college.
Selection Criteria:- A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and spiritualities.
- An ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, their families and school staff to improve educational outcomes through targeted and direct academic support.
- An understanding of, and a commitment to, the ethos of Catholic Education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- The ability to work well either individually or collaboratively as part of a team, and to accept direction and support.
- The ability to adapt and be flexible within a dynamic educational setting.
- Competitive salary range – School Officer Level 4 – hourly rate of $37.01 - $38.17.
