Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in your education career? Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Highbridge that is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a part‑time basis, working 2 days per week
.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting pupils' learning and development while working closely with teaching staff across the primary age range.

As a HLTA, you will:

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Support teaching and learning across the school.
• Work with small groups and individual pupils to accelerate progress.
• Assist in planning and preparing engaging learning activities.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
• Support children with a range of learning needs and abilities.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

• HLTA status or relevant experience in a similar role.
• Experience working within a primary school setting.
• Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• A passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a school team.
