What We Are Looking For

Applications are invited from qualified and enthusiastic educators to join the teaching staff of Catherine McAuley College. This is a full-time continuing position to commence January 2027. Applicants interested in part time opportunities are also encouraged to apply.

We are seeking teacher/s of Junior and Senior English (the ability to teach both would be an advantage) with any other subject area/s to join our supportive and passionate team of educators dedicated to academic success and creative student engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the exciting final stage of expansion to a full Years 7-12 College in 2027.

The role of a teacher is to provide quality education and care for secondary school students at Catherine McAuley College. Catherine McAuley College opened in 2022 to meet the growing demand for high-quality Catholic secondary education in the Mackay region. Commencing with its inaugural cohort of Year 7 students, the College has been strategically growing one year level at a time and will complete its full Years 7-12 profile by 2027.
