Electronics Technician Maintenance I
Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) is a DoD contractor that supports range operations and maintenance for the Army, Air Force, and Navy. We are hiring an Electronics Technician Maintenance I to perform systems maintenance and operations of range systems at the Mountain Home Range Complex in Bruneau, .
Responsibilities- Operate and maintain all Weapons Scoring systems.
- Replace components and wire circuits.
- Repair simple electronic equipment.
- Conduct test readings using instruments such as digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power meters/loads, and video monitors.
- Operate computers: update/install programs, edit databases, work with peripheral devices, and print documents.
- Operate UHF/VHF/LMR, telephonic communications and two-way communications equipment.
- Perform wild land fire suppression within the boundaries of the B&G range.
- Operate wild land firefighting equipment and vehicles.
- Assist with general maintenance using hand and power tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches.
- Work in outdoor and indoor environments.
- Climb ladders, work in elevated areas and confined spaces, and work on high-voltage and radio-frequency circuits.
- Lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Physical dexterity and flexibility required; must be able to sit, stand, kneel and climb.
- Overtime may be required to support operations.
Education/Experience/
Skills:
- Associate’s degree in electronics field, certificate from an accredited technical school, or equivalent military technical training.
- 2–3 years of experience working on electronic combat range systems.
- Read and write English.
- Understand basic operation of a Windows-based PC and document maintenance actions.
- Current driver’s license required; must be insured for company vehicle usage.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Secret clearance.
- Pass consumer report, driver record, and criminal background investigation.
