Job SummaryAs an Electro‑mechanical Quality Test Technician, you will be responsible for the final testing and inspection of Industrial Control Panels (ICPs) that power automation and control systems for electrical substations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform final electro‑mechanical inspections, ensuring panels meet company quality standards.
- Conduct nondestructive tests according to specifications and drawings, troubleshoot failures, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain inspection and quality reports while collaborating with Engineering and technician teams.
- Serve as Manufacturing Technical Representative (MTR) for UL508 compliance (UL certification training provided).
- Follow all Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies, demonstrating commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
- Associate degree in electrical engineering or a similar discipline.
- Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Must be able to lift parts or sub‑assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Residential or commercial electrical education or certifications.
- 1+ years of experience in testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting electrical equipment.
- Ability to conduct thorough final inspections on all electrical equipment, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
- Experience with various test equipment, including Hi‑pot testing.
- Proficiency in reading schematic drawings, layouts, and wire lists for circuit troubleshooting.
