What you’ll do:- Provide technical support for operation and maintenance of power generation facilities.
- Lead intermediate to large‑scale engineering projects with precision and expertise.
- Conduct investigations and provide critical analysis on complex mechanical systems.
- Oversee repair programs, pressure‑vessel inspections, and ensure compliance at coal plant facilities.
- Stay at the forefront of industry advancements and integrate innovative solutions into operations.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 0 to 5 years of professional engineering experience, or more.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (and commitment to maintain if acquired).
- Expertise in mechanical systems and industrial power generation equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
- Preferred:
Familiarity with the AECI cooperative network or generation/transmission cooperatives.
