Position: Energy Risk Management Specialist I
Location: Headquarters

Energy Risk Management Specialist I

We are seeking an Energy Risk Management Specialist I to monitor, analyze, and report on energy market risk tied to power marketing, trading activities, and commodity transactions.

Responsibilities
  • Support tracking and validation of energy transactions across power, natural gas, and other commodities.
  • Assist with monitoring portfolio risk, including credit exposure and market risk positions.
  • Help prepare monthly risk reports for Finance, Audit, and Risk discussions.
  • Participate in settlement processes for energy markets, including RTO transactions.
  • Collaborate with Power Marketing and Finance teams to ensure accurate data and reporting.
  • Contribute to maintaining risk systems, policies, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, engineering, or related field; equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Foundational knowledge of Excel and data analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to work across teams.
  • Interest in energy markets, quantitative analysis, or regulatory compliance.
