The Investment and Tax Reporting Accountant oversees the financial reporting for Guide Stone Funds including the preparation and distribution of the annual and semi-annual reports and other required regulatory filings. Works closely with the third party fund administrator to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting requirements. Coordinates Guide Stone Fund’s audit with the external auditors and fund administrator during its execution and assists in its planning throughout the year.

Prepares management and board reporting including profitability studies, fee revenue projections, and expense budgeting. Coordinates the tax reporting for Guide Stone Financial Resources and its affiliates.

• Coordinate preparation and distribution of required SEC filings, including the annual report, the semi-annual report, tailored shareholder reports, and monthly Form N-PORT & Form N-MFP files.
• Coordinate annual audit of Guide Stone Funds with the fund administrator and external auditors.
• Assist in preparation and review of Guide Stone Fund’s prospectus.
• Prepare board, management, and ad-hoc reporting & analysis relating to Guide Stone Funds.
• Review monthly funds’ revenue and expense cap calculations.
• Interface with portfolio managers to model the economic impact of fund strategies.
• Perform fee revenue and expense analysis and projections.
• Prepare monthly distribution calculations.
• Assist in preparation of federal and state tax reporting, including 990‑T, 1120, 1065, 1120‑RIC, 8613, 720, FBAR, and PFIC.
• Establish and manage relationships with fund administrators, auditors, and tax teams.
• Assist with special projects and/or process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare data for use on Form 1099‑Rs and 1099‑MISCs.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Master’s Degree and CPA, preferred.
• 1–3 years in fund accounting and/or financial services audits.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and Word skills.
