Licensed Esthetician
Licensed Estheticians are responsible for providing high-quality, personalized skincare and beauty treatments that promote healthy skin and overall relaxation. Working in the serene environment of The Spa at Tamarack, estheticians consult with guests to understand their skincare needs and deliver customized facials, waxing, and body ritual services. This role requires excellent communication, a caring demeanor, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The Spa at Tamarack offers 4 treatment rooms with relaxation room, hot tub, pool, dry sauna, and gym amenities for our clients. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform a variety of esthetic services including customized facials, dermaplaning, peels, waxing, and body treatments
- Conduct professional skin analysis and consult with guests to recommend appropriate treatments and products
- Educate guests on skincare routines, home care, and retail product recommendations both verbally and with a prescription card
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and professional treatment room
- Assist with general spa operations including laundry, setup, tidying after services, and monitoring supply needs
- Provide consistent treatments according to spa protocols and accepted certification practices
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of spa protocols, skincare trends, techniques, and product knowledge
- Actively promote the spa, treatments, enhancements and retail, as well as promotions and/or discounts available
- Monitor the daily schedule to ensure smooth guest flow using Spa Soft (via computer or mobile device)
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, Club members, Tamarack homeowners, and fellow team members
- Uphold licensing requirements and follow spa sanitation and safety protocols

Flexible with scheduling, including weekends and holidays
Graduate of an accredited Esthetics program
Prior experience in a spa, resort, or skincare setting preferred
Proficiency in a range of skincare treatments and product knowledge
Current Idaho Esthetics License (Licenses from many states can be easily transferred to Idaho)
Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain)
Fluent in English. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply—Spanish or other second languages are a plus.
Ability to assess guest needs and recommend suitable treatments and products. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Ability to sit or stand for long periods and perform detailed work with hands
Regularly required to bend, stretch, reach, and move products and equipment
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Frequent use of senses including touch, vision, smell, and hearing
Able to work in fluctuating temperatures
Calm, quiet, indoor spa environment
Weekend and holiday work required
May be required to assist in other spa or guest service areas
Estheticians are paid an hourly wage for all clocked-in time, ensuring consistent earnings throughout their shift. In addition to hourly pay, estheticians receive a flat-rate commission for each service performed and a percentage-based commission on any retail products sold. Gratuities are offered at the guest's discretion and can significantly enhance overall earnings. This compensation structure is designed to provide both stability and the opportunity to earn more based on performance and guest satisfaction.
