Job DescriptionJohnson & Johnson Med Tech, Electrophysiology is recruiting an Area Therapy Advancement Manager to join our team in the Frontier Region that includes Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, Idaho, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Washington, and Utah. Fueled by innovation at the intersection of biology and technology, we’re developing the next generation of smarter, less invasive, more personalized treatments. Our Cardiovascular team develops leading solutions for heart recovery, electrophysiology, and stroke, elevating the standards of care for stroke, heart failure and atrial fibrillation (AFib) patients.
Job SummaryArea Therapy Advancement Manager – US Commercial Marketing:
The ATAM is a member of the US Commercial Marketing leadership team, reporting directly to the National Therapy Advancement Director. The ATAM leads the area Therapy Advancement field team, consisting of regional RTAMs, and is responsible for developing and overseeing the successful execution of the Johnson & Johnson Med Tech Electrophysiology (EP) marketing strategies.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Regional Therapy Advancement Team: recruit, develop, and retain top talent; manage performance; and collaborate on succession planning.
- Drive strategic alignment and business planning: identify priority accounts, align objectives with leadership, and set commercial goals to exceed organizational objectives.
- Advocate for Electrophysiology programs: engage health system administration and hospital leadership to gain alignment and accelerate access to care.
- Advance awareness and market presence: increase overall awareness of AFib and related treatment options, and execute national-level marketing projects and campaigns.
- Collaborate across teams: work closely with field sales teams to achieve business objectives and maintain routine communication.
- Ensure compliance and operational excellence: uphold all HCC rules and regulations and complete mandatory training, expense reporting, and administrative tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 8 years professional work experience and 4+ years of sales and marketing experience
- Previous experience in the medical device industry
- People leadership experience
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to build strong customer relationships with a consultative approach
- Expertise in establishing and maintaining strategic relationships across an organization
- Inclusive and growth/visionary mindset
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with urgency
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills
- Valid driver’s license; willing to travel up to 60% (including overnights and weekends)
- Residence within, or willingness to relocate to, the specified geography
- Field Based
- Travel: 60%, including some evenings and weekends
- Prior sales and/or clinical experience in electrophysiology
- Prior sales and/or clinical experience in cardiovascular therapeutic areas
- Master’s degree or equivalent
