Occupational Therapist – Full Time
Location: McCall,
McCall Rehabilitation and Care Center in McCall, , is a post-acute care facility offering long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services. You will practice to the top of your license with opportunities for clinical development, career growth, and a balanced work life. The facility supports an inpatient environment and is expanding its mobile outpatient program in surrounding rural areas.
Responsibilities- Effectively screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders, and develop appropriate plans of care following regulatory and clinical practice standards.
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices.
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services based on evaluations and referrals.
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders.
- Effectively communicate with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
- Provide comprehensive discharge summaries of services per regulatory and clinical requirements.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist.
