Certified Nurses' Aide – Acute Care

Bear Lake Memorial Healthcare is seeking hard-working, dependable individuals that can provide compassionate and caring service to their patients/residents. These individuals must be flexible and available for various hours/shifts.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with patient cares such as:
  Bathing, toileting, dressing, patient hygiene
• Taking vital signs
• Help with some medical procedures
• Assist patients entering or leaving their beds
• Assist patients walking
• Tidy patient's rooms
• Answer call lights promptly
• Make beds
• Deliver messages
• Monitor patients and report changes
• Collect samples for testing
• Assist in feeding patients
• Monitor food and liquid input/output
• Check blood sugars, weights, heights
• Give compassionate care for patients/residents
• Other related duties as required..

Requirements:

• Willing and able to be flexible and to work various shifts/hours/days.
• Must be kind and compassionate.
• Good organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to be on feet for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to do an excessive amount of bending, twisting and lifting.
• Strict adherence to confidentiality/HIPAA requirements.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
• Must have good people skills and be able to get along well with others.
• Must have the ability to contribute to the culture and/or mission of the most caring hospital.
