PT Opportunity – Primarily Outpatient in Grangeville,
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment with Syringa General Hospital in beautiful north-central Idaho.
This is a unique hospital-based therapy opportunity offering the best of both worlds: approximately 80% of the caseload is outpatient and only 20% inpatient
. You'll primarily work in Grangeville with additional coverage at the Kooskia clinic, located approximately 25 miles away.
For a PT who enjoys outpatient therapy but also wants some variety and hospital experience, this could be a really nice fit.
Position Highlights- 80% Outpatient / 20% Inpatient
- Hospital-based rehabilitation program
- 40 hours per week
- Monday-Friday
- Flexible 8- or 10-hour day schedule
- 1-hour unpaid lunch
- Rotating weekends less than once per month
- Primary clinic in Grangeville
- Secondary clinic in Kooskia, approximately 25 miles away
- Diverse caseload with both outpatient and inpatient exposure
- Opportunity to practice with greater autonomy in a rural healthcare environment
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current Idaho PT license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Current BLS certification
- Strong orthopedic evaluation and treatment skills
- Comfortable treating both outpatient and inpatient populations
- Ability to independently evaluate patients and establish individualized plans of care
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Ability to travel between the Grangeville and Kooskia clinic locations as needed
- Evaluate patients and establish individualized plans of care
- Provide primarily outpatient physical therapy services
- Treat orthopedic, post-operative, neurological and general rehabilitation conditions
- Provide inpatient PT coverage as needed
- Perform gait, balance, strengthening, mobility and functional training
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety and recovery strategies
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Provide coverage between the Grangeville and Kooskia locations
