Job Description:Human Resources:
- Onboarding new hires and completing all appropriate paperwork:
- Including background checks
- Ensuring all new hires attend New Hire Orientation
- Assisting employees with work related injuries and workers comp claim reporting
- Ensuring required annual/semiannual trainings are being held and tracked
- Assisting with disciplinary action
- Data Integrity:
- Keeping a complete and accurate employee list
- Correcting missed punches
- Ensuring PTO requests are in
- Signing off on time clock accuracy for payroll
- Insurance:
- Distributing benefit booklets to eligible new hires
- Assist employees with enrolling through iSolved
- Answer basic questions regarding the plans
- Submit to Corporate for enrollment, deduction set-up, etc. as needed
- Termination process
- Responsible for collections in the facility. This includes but is not limited to all private payment collections, co-payment collections, and share of cost collections.
- Collecting checks or collecting cash from residents or their families.
- Setting up payment plans for patients who cannot afford to pay their balance up front.
- Ensuring that patients' insurance is entered correctly and updated consistently as needed.
- Assist with new admissions:
Confirm that the admits have insurance and that our facility accepts their insurance. - Communicate with residents as to when copays start or are due, ensuring that there are no financial surprises for the patient.
- Complete medical/dental/vision insurance benefits

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum six months' prior HR experience in an office setting
- Some prior collections experience preferred
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred but not required
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
