Laundry Attendant

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a
Laundry Attendant
. In this role, you willbe responsible for sorting, washing, folding and distributing all linens, towels, napkins and tablecloths.

As part of our leadership team,you'll embody our Promise to

-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences.

$14/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Understand operation of washing machines, dryers, presses, folding machines, etc.
• Wash and dry all linens, towels, rags, inventory needed for resort
• Sort all hotel linen according to type, color, size, etc
• Operate iron as per standard and ensure that it is shut off at the end of the shift.
• Maintain clean work area. Sweep and mop laundry floors, storing all linens off the floor and in designated areas on a daily basis
• Clean dryer filter daily and maintain all equipment as trained

What We're Looking For

• General laundry or housekeeping knowledge involving at least 1 year preferred
• Hotel/Resort experience preferred
• A leadership stylerootedin collaboration, respect, and service to others.
• Exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
