About the Role

Voltage is seeking a proactive and well-rounded HR Generalist to support day‑to‑day Human Resources operations. In this role, you will work across employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and compliance while serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers. You’ll play a key role in ensuring a positive employee experience within a growing and dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries and support needs.
  • Support employee relations activities, including investigations and corrective action processes.
  • Coordinate recruiting efforts, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including I-9 compliance and background checks.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, life events, and open enrollment.
  • Support payroll processes and ensure HRIS data accuracy.
  • Assist with compliance activities (FMLA, ADA, COBRA, EEO, OSHA, wage & hour).
  • Maintain employee records and generate HR reports and metrics.
  • Support performance management, training programs, and HR initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Experience supporting employee relations, recruiting, benefits, and compliance.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday, ADP, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or high‑growth environment preferred.
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) and payroll experience preferred.
