The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add an experienced, motivated food service supervisor to our correctional facility kitchen team in Caldwell,  a food service supervisor, you will have the opportunity to directly oversee the production and service of meals.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing hands‑on supervision and oversight for the preparation, cooking, and portioning of meals, following company recipes based on daily needs and contractual obligations.
  • Ensuring all meals meet standards for quality.

What we’re looking for:

Must-haves:

  • Experience supervising multiple employees.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and service knowledge.

Nice‑to‑haves:

  • An advanced degree in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Food Handler's certification.

Human Resources Intern

The HR Intern provides support to the Human Resources team reporting directly to the HR Generalist. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities related to recruitment, project support, and administrative support within the HR department. The HR Intern will play a crucial role in managing job postings, employee life cycle, project support, and data management, while also providing essential administrative support to the team.

The HR Intern will develop skills in employee lifecycle, HR Operations, and project support.

Essential Duties & Functions:

  • Assist HR Generalist with Operational Projects
  • Support data collection, analysis, and reporting for HR initiatives and process improvement projects.
  • Prepare presentations, meeting materials, and project documentation in collaboration with HR project leads
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, system access, and communication
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential employee personnel records
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team
  • Partner with HR team on communication projects
  • Assist with internal and external communications
  • Document new procedures and update existing procedures as needed
