ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform analyses of performance KPIs for stores and team members, compliance, and other business needs as assigned.
- Initiate and monitor systems, processes, and recurring reports in accordance with production schedules (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.) to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
- Document requirements for creating new dashboards, visualizations, and reports in BI tools.
- Use existing data, processes, and reports to fulfill the needs of field leadership, stores, and any departments supported by the store operations data analysis team.
- Assist with the design and creation of new dashboards and reports as assigned.
- Provide insight into existing operational reports, TN applications, dashboards, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate with responsible parties when abnormalities are identified.
- Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports.
- Learn and use all data sources and software used by the team, including BI tools, data warehouse, ad‑hoc data feeds such as CSV or Excel files, Access or Postgres databases, to provide insights to the store operations department and other supported departments.
- Train end users on new reports and dashboards.
- 2‑year or 4‑year degree, preferably in Business, CIS, Computer Science, Economics, or Mathematics.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Complex query statement construction experience (SQL/MySQL).
- Acute attention to detail and prior experience working with relational databases, large datasets, and ETL processes.
- Experience transforming data into usable information for non‑technical consumers.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills, with the ability to provide a high level of customer service inside and outside the team.
- Proficient with Excel, Access, and Word.
- Flexible and adaptable to new direction as business problems change.
- Experience with DOMO or other BI tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self‑motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
- Collaboration and creativity, and a commitment to participate in additional training.
- Experience in automotive retail or service industries.
