We are looking for a Regional Supply Planner to join our Agricultural Solutions team for our BASF | Nunhems vegetable seeds business in Parma, .

Responsibilities
  • Driving availability to ensure sufficient regional coverage and packed inventory.
  • Initiating and following up on standard and quality processing through COD.
  • Creating manufacturing orders (MO) and allocating lots for final processing based on FIFO for unforecasted orders.
  • Initiating final processing orders after COD.
  • Coordinating with schedulers to resolve processing or QA capacity constraints.
  • Initiating and managing outsourcing of treatments when capacity or capability limits are reached.
  • Assuring timely information flow and communication with key stakeholders.
  • Supporting GSP in operational S&OP activities and aligning with M&S Services on inventory levels and planned availability dates.
  • Maintaining final fit dates and managing date‑of‑closure for packed inventory per agreed terms.
  • Running and following up on regular reports (DOC, FFD, QA, etc.).
  • Ensuring correct documentation for ISTA, NAL, import permits, and other regulatory needs.
  • Reviewing customer seed returns in collaboration with QA and executing inventory corrections from cycle counts.
  • Managing administration for seed purchasing of third‑party owned varieties.
  • Communicating replenishment availability with GSP and executing replenishment activities with distribution centers and customer service.
  • Administering replenishment orders and internal orders (screening, trialing, breeding material, registration), including entry and management of all internal orders.
Qualifications
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Agronomy, or a related field, preferred. High school diploma required.
  • Have 1–3 years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain.
  • Are experienced with ERP systems. SAP preferred.
  • Have crop‑related knowledge and familiarity with export requirements for agricultural products preferred.
  • Know seed production, inventory management, and operational techniques preferred.
  • Possess basic understanding of the financial aspects of inventory management.
  • Can coordinate administrative workload and make assertive decisions when needed.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders in the local language and in English (verbal and written).
  • Demonstrate competencies such as driving results, collaborating, building trust, valuing differences, customer focus, courage, and managing ambiguity.
  • Maintain high productivity in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and work cooperatively and flexibly within a team and open office setting.
  • Are able to travel up to 10% per year, domestically and internationally.
