Summary

Senior Superintendent leads on-site field management, administration, and project execution.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 10-15 years of construction operations experience OR bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field with at least 7 years of progressive supervisory experience.
  • Certifications:

    CPR / First Aid and OSHA 30‑hour.
  • Proficiency with computer‑based scheduling software, spreadsheet applications, project management software, and virtual construction software.
  • Knowledge of sustainable construction (e.g., LEED).
  • Ability to manage a team and lead a project to a successful outcome.
Technical Job Knowledge & Responsibilities
  • Leads large projects, manages schedules, coordinates trade partners, and ensures project success.
  • Oversees all field operations, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery.
  • Coordinates project execution in partnership with project management, field engineering, and trade partners, ensuring schedules, safety, quality, and contractual obligations are met.
  • Utilizes construction systems and techniques for efficiency, cost‑effectiveness, and quality.
  • Communicates and builds trust with stakeholders, including owners, designers, and trade partners.
  • Resolves issues and resolves conflict while maintaining positive relationships among stakeholders.
  • Implements and enforces quality best practices, ensuring high standards across all phases.
  • Anticipates potential risks and implements proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Enforces safety standards and implements safety plans, ensuring high safety standards across projects.
  • Manages project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, safety reports, quality checklists, and other paperwork.
  • Creates, manages, and reviews project schedules independently, ensuring the project remains on track.
  • Directs development of project schedules, working closely with trade partners to identify potential scheduling conflicts.
  • Applies understanding of project contracts and financial documentation to field operations.
  • Manages contract obligations and awareness of financial tracking on the project.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $134,000 – $180,000 per year.
